If your vocab’s getting a little rusty, gather ‘round with some family and friends for a few lightning- paced rounds of Word A Round. All you have to do is spot and shout out the word in one of three rings on a round card.

Sounds easy enough, but don’t get too cocky, because that sneaky continuous ring makes it surprisingly difficult to spot where the word begins. Call out the correct word first to collect the card.

The first player to collect 10 cards clinches brain game victory. Word A Round comes with 100 cards containing three words each, giving you ample opportunity to amp up those word skills.

This is my second time ordering from The Brain Store and I plan on ordering more in the future. This game is great. Keeps the kids busy for a long while. Shopping in the store is great also. We spent almost an hour playing games with the employees last time we were there. They are all so helpful. I realy like that they have games that are specifically taylored to each childs needs if required. I am a forever cutstomer!

helps students use phonetic skills even when they think they're too old

I gave cards to my high school students to keep them occupied while others finished a writing assignment. They initially struggled with it - they felt pretty thrown off balance by not immediately recognizing the words, but after they worked their way through a card or two, they were asking for more. Quick, easy activity to take up a few minutes or to build into a contest.

How To Play

How to Play: Flip a card. Then be the first to read the word. How to Win:  Collect the most cards to win!
