- Fun, Great for Groups, and You Learn Some Stuff Too! Review by David the College Student

...albeit usually not very useful things to learn, but fun anyway! Lots of fun, especially for a large group (4-7 people)! Personally, I've never played in teams, but I imagine that would be fun as well. Nevertheless, I don't typically think of myself as someone who enjoys very many "trivia games," but I love this game! It's part trivia knowledge, part betting, part reading your friends/opponents, but it's one of those cases where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts! Another great aspect of this game is the choice involved in the trivia, so it's fun for everyone (science-,history-,culture-minded people, etc.) and finding a game that genuinely appeals to so many diverse personality types is rare - but this one definitely fits the bill! Forget Trivial Pursuit. i have Wits & Wagers maybe 50 times, with all sorts of people, trivia buffs and the triviaphobe. Almost universally everyone loved the game. It key is that you do not need to know any trivia and you can still win! Plus it is short; no more three hour Trivia Pursuit marathons.Quality Brain Worthiness Price Value
The key to the game comes in the betting, that is, figuring out which answers are the closest without going over to the correct answer. This is possible due to the ingenious idea to make all the answers numbers. All the answers are numbers (percentage, weight, height, date, basically some unit of measurement. You win more chips by betting correctly than writing the closest answer, so the premium is put on figuring out what other people know rather than you estimating the answer well.
As a result, this really is not a trivia game, but a party game. I highly recommend this game not only for those who love trivia, but primarily for those that do not. Now there is a game that everyone will want to play when someone suggests a trivia game. (Posted on 11/1/10) - Cool Game Review by nick waltzer

This was a surprise. My friends and I played because we heard about it on the radio. We were not expecting much. But it was fun! We were going to play once and move on. We ended up playing 4 games! This is fun for anyone who is playing a gathering with a variety of ages. One of the best party games I've ever played. Wits & Wagers is one of my favorite party games of all-time. It's a great way to equalize the playing field between those who enjoy trivia games and those who don't. I often break it out for holiday parties or other gatherings because up to 7 people can play, or up to 21 people if you play in teams (1 - 3 players per team works pretty well).Quality Brain Worthiness Price Value
In most trivia games, you either know the right answer or you don't. Wits & Wagers is more about making educated guesses. The questions are all things you can guess at, but probably won't know the exact answer to. How many rooms are in the White House? How wide is an NFL football field? How tall is the Oscar statuette? Every player makes a guess. Then each player bets on which guess is closest to the correct answer. The more good bets you make, the more chips you win. The player with the most chips after 7 questions is the winner.
Easy, fast-paced, and fun. Most of my friends and family usually want to play again after the first game is done! (Posted on 11/1/10)
