- Very Cool! Review by Cynthia

Bought these for the grandkids but the adults are having so much fun with them the kids may not get them! Took them to work, bounced them off people (in a friendly fun way), put some on my desk in a bowl and roll them around in my hands to alleviate stress. Toss them against the wall when someone really ruffles my feathers! They are so fun everyone at work wants to play. Fun to play, harmless stress relief! My daughter (who is 18) saw these in the local mall, and I could not figure out what her request was at first! She told me "spitballs".Brain Worthiness
But, after looking at your neato site, I found them, they are braindrops! Very unique, and a little go a long way! She has been filling up containers of these, with water, and sneaking into the kitchen to borrow food coloring. She has lots growing, and only used up 1/5th of the container. I only wish these were around when my boys were young, I can imagine what they would've experimented with.

We just bought some from our local Marbles today and are having fun already. The have been taking a little longer to absorb and grow than we expected (takes more than a few minutes so let them sit while we did something else), but are planning lots of experiments with water temperature, acidity, coloring, and shrinking. A fun, inexpensive option for lots of scientific fun! (Posted on 9/14/12)Brain Worthiness - Fun, but problems with mold Review by scienthomas

Braindrops have been fun to play with, and a little goes a long way. The kids find them very fun. We haven't had success with them drying out and shrinking. Instead, they have routinely developed mold patches. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please post! (Posted on 8/18/12)Brain Worthiness - So much fun! Review by Word Freak

We bought these for ammunition for our Marbles Da Vinci catapult and ended up using them for so many things! Lately we've been using them to greet guests to our house, but we have also done some very cool experiments with them using different acids to see how fast we can get them to shrink and how far they will expand again once they've absorbed a little lemon juice or vinegar. My kids love the way they feel, I love the super easy clean up and slime-free nature of them, plus everything my kids are learning about the science of absorption! (Posted on 7/25/12)Brain Worthiness
