Marbles Gift Wrap

Marbles offers gift wrapping on this brainy product for only $1!
We haven’t lost our minds, we just know how nice it is to avoid those dull scissors and tape that won’t tear. To add gift wrapping to your order, just select the “yes” button under the “add gift wrap” section.

Qwirkle Cubes is a fantastic game in its own right so we’re going to refrain from comparing it to its predecessor, which happens to be one of the most awarded games of all time. Because that would be like having to go through school as the kid sister to the class president, valedictorian and every single teacher’s pet. Qwirkle Cubes has 90 wooden cubes, each a single color with six different symbols on each face. Just roll the dice and score the most points by creating rows of matching colors or symbols. Sorry, you don’t score bonus points for beating out your know-it-all big sister.

How to Play:

Players each receive six game cubes that have variations of six possible shapes and six possible colors on them. During a turn, game cubes are laid down on the table that connect to lines that are either the same shape, or the same color. You cannot play two of the same piece in a line. Players are rewarded with points for the number of pieces they can add to a line in one play. More game pieces are taken to replace the ones that were used. A player can roll any of their pieces before they move to try to get something better than what they have.

How to Win:

The player with the most points after no more moves can be made, is the winner.

The Marbles BrainCoach says...

I actually like the Cubes better than the original - I think it's adaptable to different ages, a great way to introduce strategy and game play to younger ages, and really fun for the whole family. I love the way the cubes change each turn so it's all about using strategy and visual perception to clear out your cubes. I like coming up with fast paced versions of the game to force quick decision skills.
