Don’t be fooled by Pentago’s simple design and striking good looks. This two-player abstract strategy game is deceptively complex with seemingly infinite outcomes. Played on a 6x6 board divided into four quadrants, the object of the game is to get five black or white marbles in a row. The twist (quite literally) is that players also rotate one of the quadrants by 90 degrees with each turn, meaning that a move intended to bring you closer to victory could actually result in crushing defeat.
