In our ever-so-humble and arithmetic-loving opinions, math got a bad rap. Kids swear they’ll never need it. Parents insist they don’t use it. And grandparents tell stories of walking up a snowy hill barefoot while calculating the distance to school with nothing but an abacus. Enter Math Dice, a game that makes mathematical concepts fun for young and old alike. This 3D math game challenges players to get closest to the target number by creating different equations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and powers. Math Dice includes two target dice, three scoring dice, a lesson booklet and a storage bag for taking your mad mathematical skills on the road.

Great!

Wow, did I need this game. It's a great mental work out and I'm looking forward to improving. What is mentioned in the info that comes with it (I don't think it's mentioned on the Marbles site) is that it can be played with only one white die rolled to get a smaller number (1-12), the two white dice rolled and added ("intermediate" level), or both white rolled and multiplied. I like this as it expands the age range for it. My husband rolled his eyes when I told him I bought it but he enjoys playing it. Ha! (I'm right again ; ) )

Awesome, Awesome. I love these dice.

These 5 dice are very simple but yet very powerful; you roll the 2 white target dice to get your target number and the 3 remaining blue dice you roll and use those numbers to come up with or as close to possible the target number. Initially this seems like a hard task but if you spend a little time reviewing the book of hints you will be on your way. I liked the fact that because I am a very right brain thinker and this game is ideal to give your left hemisphere a great workout. Great to travel with also.............as your sitting in Chicago traffic.

How To Play

How to Play: For competitive play: Roll the two 12-sided dice. Multiply the two numbers on the dice to get a target number. The players roll the three 6-sided dice and must use those three numbers with a mathematical operator (+,-,x,& divide , and even roots or exponents) to reach as close as possible to the target number.
