How to Play:
One player is the Codemaker, the other is the Codebreaker. The Codemaker chooses 4 colored pegs in a specific order and sets up the Code so that it is concealed behind the shield. The Codebreaker attempts to solve the Code by placing 4 pegs in the first row of holes. If the Breaker gets the color and position of a peg right, the Maker places a red key peg next to the guess. If the Breaker gets the color right but in the wrong position, they receive a white peg. Using logic and deduction, the Breaker attempts to solve the Code. The Maker receives one point for every row used to solve the Code. If all 10 rows have been used without solving, the Maker receives 11 points. Players switch roles.
How to Win:
Score the most points after playing any predetermined number of games.
