Marbles Gift Wrap

Marbles offers gift wrapping on this brainy product for only $1!
We haven’t lost our minds, we just know how nice it is to avoid those dull scissors and tape that won’t tear. To add gift wrapping to your order, just select the “yes” button under the “add gift wrap” section.

We think the makers of Linja should trademark the term “eco-brainy” to describe this game’s perfect combo of natural bamboo playing pieces and smart strategy elements that exercise the frontal cortex. Here’s how it works: Both players start with six pawns in their base and one pawn in each of the six spaces between both bases. The object of Linja is to place your pawns in your opponent’s home base or as close as possible to it. While this elegant game has simple rules, it forces players to think ahead and constantly calculate the highest value moves.

Brain Health Expert Says:

"Use your frontal cortex to plan ahead, strategize and problem solve in this challenging critical-thinking game."

How to Play:

The game is set up by spacing the bamboo pieces equally and setting up six red and six black pieces at either end. Six pieces of each color are also placed separately along the sides in between the bamboo. In turn, players take any piece of their color and move it one space toward their opponent’s side. Then, the same player makes a follow-up move with any of their pieces based on how many other game pieces were in the row where the first move was made.

How to Win:

Once both player’s pieces have passed each other on the game board, the game is over.  Various points are awarded for pieces that have made it onto, or close to, the opponents starting area.  The player with the most points is the winner.
