Spot, call and grab tiles that form words to collect points.

This word-skills challenge will also test your visuospatial and auditory memory.

Steal from other players by adding a new letter to a scrambled version of an existing word.

Snatch-It happens to be one of the all-time favorites of Lindsay Gaskins, our brainy leader, president and CEO. She's one smart cookie so, naturally, we can recommend it without equivocation. This competitive and fast-paced word game challenges players to think quickly while putting their vocabulary skills to the test. Here's how it works: Place 100 letter tiles face down and then take turns flipping one tile over at a time until a word of three or more letters can be formed. Spot a word and call it out. Or, snatch any word by changing it with one or more letters.

    Brain Health Expert Says:

"Demanding of your visuospatial and auditory memory as it stretches you to think beyond the simple. " -Neurologist

    How to Play:

Spread out all of the letter tiles face down on the table. Take turns flipping over tiles, one at a time, until someone sees a word that is at least three letters long. Once they call it out, it belongs to them - for now. Everyone keeps flipping over tiles. New words can be spotted and called out at any time. If someone sees letters that can combine with existing words to make them longer, they can call out the new word and steal the original word from the other player (the entire word you are stealing must be used). You can also build up your own words. Example: CAT can become CART and then TRACK. The game continues until all 100 tiles are used and no further words can be made.

    How to Win:

Snatch-it includes a scoring guide but we think it's easiest to just say whoever has the most letters at the end is the winner!
