The largest on the Brain Fitness Program for healthy adults was led by researchers at Mayo Clinic and the University of Southern California and was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Among other things, this study demonstrated that the Brain Fitness Program:
- Improves memory by an average of 10 years
- Speeds up auditory processing by an average of 131%
- 90% of people aged 65+ attained processing speeds typical of people under age 40
Importantly, results show the improvements weren't just in the processing skills the exercises trained directly. It generalized to memory.
