Your memory is shot. Your word skills are wanting. And your social life needs some serious resuscitation. Enter Flippin’ Out, a fast-paced party game that will perk up your memory, amp up your word skills and get you socializing at the flip of a chip. The first player spins to pick a category, such as rock bands. The next player has 10 seconds to name a band starting with any letter on a face-up chip. If they say ABBA, then the chip with the letter A is flipped over and can’t be used again that round. If you can’t answer, you’re eliminated for the round. The last player left standing wins the round.

"The hippocampus, the memory center of the brain, is activated as you recall facts, and speech production areas are engaged as you vocalize the words pertaining to each category. "

    How to Play:

Spin the spinner. Draw a card to find out the category corresponding to the color the spinner lands on. Players have 10 seconds each to give answers which fit into the chosen category and flip over the Letter Chip their answer starts with. Once a letter has been flipped, it may no longer be used. If you cannot come up with an answer, or you give an answer using a letter already flipped, you are out for the remainder of the round. Last player or team to successfully flip a Letter Chip wins the round, and advances their pawn one space on the Game Board.

    How to Win:

Be the first player/team to advance your pawn to the Finish Space.

This game is a great way to work on your vocabulary. I mean, how many items can you list for "baked goods" without repeating a starting letter? Its a real workout!
