Under the Radar Gem: Spontuneous

It takes very little to trigger a song in my head. In fact, there's almost always music playing in there. My day usually has a soundtrack, although it doesn't necessarily align with what's happening. Many times it's an obnoxious song that I'd rather not sing. Do you walk around with a song lyrics bouncing around in your brain? You could put them to use playing Spontuneous. This fun filled party game challenges your ability to recall song lyrics. And the more trigger words you can come up with the stump your opponents, the better. Each player comes up with a list of trigger words, and each word should appear in the lyrics of a different song. On your turn you share one of your trigger words with the other players and they have to sing at least five words, including the trigger word, from a song. Obviously, you want to try to think of words that would make it more difficult for your opponents, but here's an easy example: The trigger word is "blue"&"Blue skies smilin' at me" The first person to come up with a song and successfully sing lyrics before the 15 second timer runs out gets to roll the dice to advance on the board. If no player can come up with a song, the person who came up with the trigger word must sing a five word portion of that song. If they are successful, they may roll the dice and advance on the board. If a player lands on a treble clef spot on the board, they must draw a card and attempt the challenge. The challenge may be something like: We've played this several times here at Marbles HQ and we love it. It's a blast, as well as a great workout for you memory. Here are a few words that are a little more difficult. Give them a shot and let us know what you come up with: Fight Renoir Traverse
