Top Games for Fictional Characters

It's all well and good to give recommendations for outdoor play, or summertime favorites, but there's one group that we have been neglecting at Marbles The Brain Store: fictional characters. We're using today's post for some recommendations to help them strengthen and improve their cognitive skills. Following are our Top Picks for Characters in Pop Culture.

SAM & SUZY from MOONRISE KINGDOM

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="230" caption="They'll get to where they need to go"]Sam and Suzy[/caption] When you're 12 and in love, nothing can stop you. The two protagonists from this charming and lovely film run off together and explore the island of New Penzance. They probably don't need anything but they're both really clever, and young Sam is a budding painter. He might enjoy the Master Kitz Tree of Life kit, which gives Sam all the tools he needs to paint his own version of Klimt's masterpiece, or perhaps a portrait of Suzy as well. Suzy would have fun with Let's Make Some Great Art, which would allow her to experiment with different styles of expression, and introduce her to some new ones.

MERIDA from BRAVE

MeridaShe's a royal princess who has a falling out with her family. She needs to strengthen her logic and critical thinking skills to overcome her obstacles. To help Merida on her journey, we recommend Tic Tac Two. The twist on the traditional stalemate game will help her plan ahead and its size is perfect for her travels. To help her navigate, a rousing game of Pathagon will help her find the correct way through the danger she must face.

PETER PARKER from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="211" caption="Catches thieves just like flies"]Spider Man[/caption] It seems appropriate to give Peter the game Hive. After all, he's interested in insects, bugs, arachnids. Right? Such a quiet, brooding teen. Kind of a clumsy nerd if you will. He's certainly not the kind of guy who would have a secret identity and go flying around the skyscrapers attached to homemade webs. Peter will be challenged by the strategy needed to win this game. Plus he'll be impressed by the fact that the game's Spider pieces can move 3 spaces at a time. Maybe he'll ask that pretty Gwen to play. Whether you're a superhero, a princess, or a 12-year old living in 1965, Marbles is your store. Our brilliant and talented BrainCoaches will use their superpowers for good matching your needs with the perfect game or activity that's sure to make you the hero of your own story. Have a favorite character from Pop Culture that you'd like to see Marbles find the perfect product for? Or an idea of a Marbles product that would be perfect for that fictional character?
