We’ve been doing a lot of reminiscing here in the brain workshop lately. It seems that some of the best childhood games make the best games for grown-ups too! So what was your favorite game to play as a youngster? Austin loved 4 square, for Scott it was tetherball, while my personal favorite was a gym class game called “Clean Out Your Own Backyard”. These games and activities have entertained kids for generations and as we get ready to begin development on our 2013 Marbles brand projects, we are exploring ways to put a fresh, brainy twist on some of our favorite classics.
Our biggest complaint with games like 4 square and tetherball is that, as adults, it is often impossible to find a place to play. That’s why we are working to bring you an ultra portable 4 square game, with a few play options that will take the game to a whole new level. The Marbles version of tetherball will look very familiar, just much, much smaller. Our desktop tether ball pole will allow you to improve your dexterity while having loads of fun virtually anywhere.
So be sure to keep your eyes out for these and many more familiar favorites at your local Marbles The Brain Store or online at marblesthebrainstore.com and “like” Marbles: The Brain Store on Facebook for additional product development news.
In the meantime, tell us what your favorite childhood game was.
