Move over, Barbie and fairytale damsels in distress. There’s a new girl in town. And she’s got a tool belt, a menagerie of friends and all the smarts she needs to build a world where women can solve problems, fend for themselves and drive off into the sunset in a dream car they invented. (Eat your heart out, Barbie.) Created by a female engineer from Stanford University, GoldieBlox is a storybook and building kit designed to introduce young girls to engineering. Just read about Goldie’s adventures. Then, solve problems by building machines with Goldie and her pink, furry and tutu-wearing pals.

The Brain Coach Says

This is such a great activity for young girls. I love that this fun and cute game can teach my daughter about engineering even though she just thinks it's a fun game with animals.

An engineering activity to finally prove that boys drool and girls rule.

Amazing! My little girls a genius!

I got this for my 5 year old daughter and she loved. After she built the whole sotryline she started to create her own contraptions! The only thing is that she wished the board was larger so she could make larger devices.

Love it! even for a 3 year old

Got this for my 3 year old and wasn't sure if she could get it, but guess what she is a guiness. But really, she loved it. A really good purchase.
