While we offer many games that can be played with your homosapien friends, with a bit of creativity and ingenuity you can also find products that your canine friend will enjoy. Road Trip Season
By Marbles Blog
6/24/2014 9:00:00 AM
I may be odd, but I personally love me a good long road-trip. There's something exciting about travelling somewhere new, and seeing so many sights along the way. When I was younger, my siblings and I got pretty inventive with our games. However, there are only so many ways to reinvent "I Spy" before it gets a little old. This is why I love that Marbles carries so many great games for the open road. To start things off, there are several games that are designed specifically for the long trips Read More

By Marbles Blog
6/11/2014 2:13:00 PM
Marbles very own Brain Beats is great for your classroom! If you are familiar with Schoolhouse Rock, odds are you are thinking or even humming the tune to "I'm Just a Bill" right as you read this very sentence. That's the power of using music to memorize facts! It's a process called rote leaning, or the idea of memorization based on repetition. Music, in this case, is the best form of repetition because it's accompanied by a catchy tune. And if a cartoon song from the 70's is still helping pe Read More

Wordy Word, My Favorite Game
By Marbles Blog
6/9/2014 10:00:00 AM
This is going to be a bit of a confession now. On my 10th birthday, while most kids got bicycles, or video games, or CD Players"_ I got a thesaurus. And it was just what I wanted! Yup, ever since before I could remember, I had a devout love of words. As a voracious reader, I wanted to know words beyond "happy", "sad", "sometimes" and "stubborn". I wanted a world filled with "effervescent", "morose", "intermittent" and "recalcitrant"! As you can imagine, I was a super cool, super norma Read More

The Geeks' Guide to World Domination
By Marbles Blog
8/14/2012 11:28:00 AM
Garth Sundem's book The Geeks' Guide to World Domination. Sounds like a list of To Do's in order to exact nerdy revenge on every popular kid who was mean to us in school. In his introduction, Sundem admits that it is just as much a book for the less geeky out there, who need a ticket into the increasingly popular world of geekdom. Because, as many of the biggest geeks out there have said (Bill Gates amongst Read More
