    Marbles Gift Wrap

Marbles offers gift wrapping on this brainy product for only $1!
We haven’t lost our minds, we just know how nice it is to avoid those dull scissors and tape that won’t tear. To add gift wrapping to your order, just select the “yes” button under the “add gift wrap” section.

Sure, coming up with the name of a frozen food or a dog breed sounds easy enough. Or at least that’s what you think while downing a Hot Pocket and petting your cocker spaniel. Turns out, coming up with it before your opponent in a game of Anomia is not quite as easy. The rules for this Mensa Select winner are simple: Flip over a card from the pile and face off with the player whose card has the same symbol as yours. Then, blurt out an example of the person, place or thing on your opponent’s card before they can do the same. Win or lose, you’ll laugh, shout and exercise your noggin.

    Brain Health Expert Says:

"Think fast and act faster to succeed at Anomia. The frontal lobe will be engaged when you quickly think of correct responses, and motor coordination areas will be activated when you report your decision as quickly as possible."

    How to Play:

All cards (except for wild cards) have a Symbol and a Category on them. Shuffle the deck and place cards in the center as a draw pile. One at a time, in clockwise order, players take one card each and flip over. If any two cards have a match of symbols, the two players then “face off”. You must state an example that fits your opponent’s category before they state an example that fits yours. The winner collects the loser’s card and places it face down in their Win Pile. Wild Cards have two symbols. When a Wild Card is drawn, it moves to the center of the play area and is valid until replaced by another Wild Card. If the two symbols on the Wild Card are in play, then those two players face off.

    How to Win:

The player with the most cards in their Win Pile when the deck is depleted is the winner.
